Snowstorm in Duluth, MN Pics

We got a quite a bit of snow recently, and a friend of mine sent me some pictures he took in Duluth, MN. There hasn't been much snowfall this year, so the latest dumping caught people off guard.

Along with the snow, we got a lot of wind, which makes for some "interesting" snowdrifts.

This was a winter to remember! My husband left for West Yellowstone in search of snow just before this storm hit. But lucky me..I was left to learn how to use the snowblower for the first time! After a phone call to my brother, I was given instructions on the proper use of a snowblower. I loved the part that it just plugged in and then would start..no pulling on any cord for me. Needless to say, that by the time the second storm hit (and still no husband)..I didn't need to make any phone calls. Gotta love winter.

This reminds me of all the winters I spent in Sault Ste Marie, MI.

Lake effect snows man! 300-330" per winter...
